This year's tournament was a great success.  We changed it up a little by moving to early in the season instead of late.  This seemed to have worked out quite well for all of us.

The Lady Osprey had a great showing.

The U12 left no questions as to who is a force to be reckoned with.  They did not lose a game the entire tournament going 7-0 and winning the championship in the bottom half of the last inning, scoring two runs off a two strike slap hit by Mad Dog Reimann.  The girls played very well and deserved the victory.

The U16 played well enough to get the number one seed out of pool play.  Winning all three games and only giving up one run.  In championship play the bats went a bit flat and the dropped the game to advance the championship but bounced back to finish with a 3rd place victory in a run shortened game.  DJ Johnson pitched lights out again and the defense was very solid.  The loss came to a good Glacier Emeralds team and the U16 have nothing to hang their heads about.

These are two very good teams.

We had a need to fill out the U10 bracket (originally only had 3 teams sign up) so we recruited some local little league kids to participate.  We put uniforms on them, provided equipment, and turned them loose.  They ended up taking third place and had a great time.
