The Fourth of July Shootout in Spokane, WA was the first out of state experience for a lot of the Lady Osprey but that didn't bother them one bit.  The Club sent three teams to Spokane to compete and compete they did.  We were represented in the U12, U14 and U18 divisions (No U10 division offered)

The U12 team quietly went about their business.  They played a lot of their games at a complex that was offsite from the main complex.  Out of sight but not out of mind,  The managed to bounce back from an opening loss on Friday night (2-3) to defeat the Glacier Emeralds (10-0) to advance to the championship game on Sunday where they met the Spokane Crash.  They came out on top with a 7-6 win to take home the Championship trophy.  Way to Go u12! --> photo

The U14 division was the most balanced division of the tournament,  no team dominated or was dominated.  The U14 squad received the #3 seed after pool play with a 3-1 record.  Unfortunately things didn't work out on Sunday AM as they dropped the first game of championship play.  They had a great showing and competed in every game they played.  Nice representation  by the U14.

The U18 Lady Osprey picked up four kids to play this weekend and had a pretty good showing.  The U18 dropped a tough game to the Flathead Monsters (3-5) on Friday and then bounced back on Saturday to defeat the Spokane Fury (11-1).  They dropped the other two games on Saturday but played well.  The U18 squad won their opener on Sunday and then were eliminated the second game.

Their was some great softball played in Spokane and the Lady Osprey (again) made themselves noticed.
