Rachel has been playing for the Missoula Lady Osprey for the last five years. She has played 1st Base ,2nd Base , Short Stop and Catcher. Rachel is a very smart, coachable player. Rachel is a tough competitor who plays hard. Rachel has hit with power and was solid in the number 4 slot of the Lady Osprey batting order.

High School

Rachel is currently a junior at Big Sky High School in Missoula, and will graduate in 2010.

Rachel is an all-round in-fielder who was chosen her Freshman year to play on the varsity squad for her high school, playing both SS and 3B. In Rachel's second year at Big Sky, she was chosen for 2nd team All State/All Conference Utility player in 2008 for 2B.

Personal

Rachel has worked extensively with the children that have disabilities in 2007/2008 at Big Sky, including volunteering for the Special Olympics in the spring of 2008. Rachel will again be working with the Exceptionalities class her Junior year.

Rachel enjoys downhill skiing, playing ball, traveling and spending time out-doors.

Rachel's career goals are leading towards a position in the teaching field, very possibly with children that have disabilities. Rachel loves working with children, and has a great heart for all children.
